I think it's official, I need an intervention. I mean who wouldn't be drawn in by the allure of free stuff, the promise of keeping things out of landfills, and the sense of helping your community? I think the eye opener for me was when I went to pick up a Halloween costume for my honey this past Saturday. Sure, he'll be able to use it this coming Halloween, but seriously that's months away, and where am I going to put it until then? I just gave away two and a half bags of just my clothing on Friday, and immediately started looking for other things to list. Even my children have been terrorized of late by a wild eyed banshee instructing them to clean their rooms and put anything they no longer want in the Freecycle pile. I'm so isane I've even offered to help my neighbors list items to give away... Sigh, I think I'll turn to my old freind chocolate for solace.
