The Scream...

[this is good]
Yet another reason why I chose to bypass parenthood! 8:-)
It's something they don't warn you about, that's for sure. :-)
Ours used to shriek in that shatter glass mode when she was little. Nothing stopped it until one day, in mid shriek, I picked her up and deposited her in the shower, turned on the cold water and waited. After that, all I had to do was ask her to stop. If she didn't, I'd go turn on the shower for a minute. Worked like a charm. Maybe that's why she got into the "not wanting to take a shower" funk in her teen years... LOL
Lol... Oh my... I can only imagine... Do they screech to support each other? Holy guacamole! My ears hurt for you.
We just put them in their room and let them shriek it out. Usually that does the trick, after a little while of screaming by themselves they get bored with it. Unfortunantely, when they're both screaming and we put them in there it becomes a contest as to who can shriek louder and longer. Ah well, someday they'll have kids of their own... Maybe then they'll appreciate us.
Not usually, but sometimes they've both been equally offended by one of the older kids, and let's just say that can get pretty ugly!
Bless your heart. I talk about you guys all the time. Mostly it involves me shaking my head and wringing my hands and repeatedly mumbling "five kids, five kids, five kids...". I don't know how you do it.
Yes well, if you want ot borrow them at any time to give us a break you're welcome to. Just let us know! Muahaha (evil laugh...)
