Alright, so here's my excuse this time... :-) We finished our projects, had a flurry of school performances, (the final ones of this school year,) threw our house in order for a visit from My Honey's Mom, and celebrated the twins' fourth birthday. And so, pictures!
Logan with his trombone!
My Honey at Logan's concert filming.
Alright, I know it's kinda mean, but we couldn't help but take note of this guy to My Honey's left. Do they still service those cameras?
Our finished hole in the wall, dining room side.
And kitchen side. Kev did a great job!
The Grandma and Birthday countdown calendar!
Mema with the boys, enjoying a quiet moment. :-)
The cake in progress for a pirate party!
The finished product with my not-so-little girl!

And finally cutting it!
Alright, I've once again run out of time. I'll try to post more soon, or at least not go so long between posts!
This last weekend the boys turned three. Here they are with their cakes trying to blow them out...
And here's the cake before we seperated it. My daughter and I worked for hours the day before to make it for the boys.
And here they are just being silly.
We didn't have a huge group of people come by, mostly because it was Memorial Day weekend, but we did have a decent turn out. The weather was perfect and the twins we reasonably well-behaved, so that in itself was good enough.
Let's see, Frank received an award for outstanding brass player for his participation in band this year.
Besides that we did some work in our flower beds. Let's see, Frank planted a juniper (?) tree of some kind, and we planted some flowers, did some weeding, etc. Our columbines are finally blooming, and I grabbed a pic of that as well as one of our iris in bloom.
Well, Frank's B-day was yesterday and we crammed so much stuff into our day! He had school of course, and then he had to get as much last minute piano practice as he could. At about fiveish Kev took him across town for his first piano competition as the rest of the troops and I frantically decorated and hid all of Frank's presents. (For those that don't know we like to hide everyone's presents on their birthdays and give them clues as to where to find them. It's a lot of fun and draws out the whole gift thing because we tend to hide the clues to the next present inside the wrappings of the previous!) Even the twins helped put up some decorations. As soon as the guys returned from the competition we went to Souper Salad for dinner, (embarrased him publicly by singing Happy Birthday loudly and off key!) and finally came home to do the present hunt. All of this was followed by dark chocolate cake with triple chocolate chunk frosting, (yum!) I actually got pictures of him smiling and having fun with it all, (even though parents aren't cool at this stage of the game...) :-)
