Okay, it wasn't my first car per se, but it was my first car that was only mine. After I divorced I was selling cars, (yeah I know, but I really needed the paycheck,) and someone traded in an older Jeep Cherokee. Because I was working there it was only $500 over cost, which turned out to be something could afford. I must say, I truly loved that car and did most of the maintenance myself. I ended up giving it to my mother and buying another when her car broke down. I still miss that car. Sigh. Now I'm part of the minivan brigade...

Police Badge

Okay, so I'm driving home from school, minding my own business, when wham! I've just been violently introduced to one of Colorado's many uninsured.

Not only was she uninsured, but she didn't have a license as well. Well, actually she'd never had a license, but she had been meaning to get one... really!

So now we have to wait for the insurance offices to open, and wait for a copy of the police report. Yeah!

BTW, the accident 100% her fault, and I have an independent witness darn it!
